Explanation

A word consists of a base and suffixes. The base is the main part that carries the meaning; a suffix is a part added to the base. Words made from one base are called asosdosh words (related words): gul – gulli, gulsiz, gulchi, gulzor. Their meanings are close to each other, but they are different words.

Worked examples
gul (flower) – base; gulli, gulsiz, gulchi, gulzor – related words.
ish (work) – base; ishla (work!), ishchi (worker), ishsiz (jobless) – related words.
Class activity

“Chain of related words”: the teacher says a base; children add suffixes to make related words. The group with the most words wins.
