Explanation

Possessive suffixes show whom a thing belongs to. They are -m (-im), -ng (-ing), -si (-i), -miz (-imiz), -ngiz (-ingiz), -lari. Language has three persons: 1st – the speaker (men, biz), 2nd – the listener (sen, siz), 3rd – anyone or anything outside the conversation (u, ular). For example: mening kitobim (my book), sening kitobing (your book), uning kitobi (his or her book).

Worked examples
kitob (book): kitobim (my), kitobing (your), kitobi (his/her).
daftar (notebook): daftarimiz (our), daftaringiz (your, polite or plural), daftarlari (their).
Class activity
