Explanation

Nouns have six cases. Main: Kim? Nima? Qayer? (no suffix). Possessive: Kimning? Nimaning? (-ning). Accusative: Kimni? Nimani? (-ni). Directional: Kimga? Nimaga? Qayerga? (-ga, -ka, -qa). Locative: Kimda? Nimada? Qayerda? (-da). Ablative: Kimdan? Nimadan? Qayerdan? (-dan). To find the case we ask the noun a question.

Class activity

“Case staircase”: six steps are drawn on the board. Children say a noun and write the matching form on each step in turn.
