Adjectives of colour, taste and flavour

Explanation
Adjectives of colour show the colour of a thing: qizil, sariq, yashil, moviy, oq, qora, pushti, jigarrang, kulrang. Adjectives of taste show the taste: shirin, nordon, sho‘r, achchiq, bemaza. They answer Qanday? Qanday limon? – sariq va nordon (yellow and sour). Using both kinds makes a description exact.
Worked examples
Anor qizil va shirin. (The pomegranate is red and sweet.) Limon sariq va nordon. (The lemon is yellow and sour.) Sho‘rva sho‘r edi. (The soup was salty.)
Riddle: Sariq, nordon, choyga solamiz. (Yellow, sour, we put it in tea. – a lemon)
Class activity
“Colour and taste”: the teacher names a fruit or vegetable (anor, limon, bodring); children describe it with two adjectives: colour and taste.
