Explanation

Nouns in the possessive case answer Kimning? Nimaning? Qayerning? This case is made with the suffix -ning: bola – bolaning, daraxt – daraxtning, maktab – maktabning. The possessive case joins a noun to another noun: bolaning qalami (the child’s pencil), daraxtning bargi (the tree’s leaf).
