Finding personal pronouns in a text. Check your knowledge

Textbook: Part 4, pp. 23–25
GoalFind personal pronouns in a text and name their person, number and case.
New words
person · shaxsnumber (singular, plural) · son (birlik, ko‘plik)case · kelishiktext · matn
Explanation

To find a personal pronoun in a text, we ask kim? kimlar? to the words. For each pronoun we then name its person (1, 2 or 3), number (singular or plural) and case. For example: menga – the pronoun men, 1st person, singular, directional case; bizni – the pronoun biz, 1st person, plural, accusative.

Worked examples
Men bobom bilan bog‘ga bordim. U menga olma terishni o‘rgatdi. Opam bizni maqtadi. (I went to the garden with my grandfather. He taught me to pick apples. My sister praised us.)
men – 1st person, singular, main case; u – 3rd, singular, main case; menga – 1st, singular, directional case; bizni – 1st, plural, accusative.
