Noun-forming suffixes: consolidation

Textbook: Part 2, pp. 66–68
GoalConsolidate noun-forming suffixes: tell their meanings and use them in sentences.
New words
consolidation · mustahkamlashsandy place · qumloqstony place · toshloqblacksmith · temirchi
Explanation

-chi, -kor – a person; -dosh – something in common; -zor, -loq – a place. Examples: temirchi (blacksmith), sabzavotkor (vegetable grower), yurtdosh, olmazor, qumloq (sandy place), toshloq (stony place). In sentences, words with noun-forming suffixes change by cases: temirchilar, temirchining, temirchiga. To consolidate, form words, make sentences and analyse.

Worked examples
Temirchi temirni bolg‘a bilan uradi. (The blacksmith strikes the iron with a hammer.) Olmazorda olma pishdi. (Apples ripened in the orchard.)
Sinfdoshlarim ahil. (My classmates are friendly.) Bu yerlar toshloq, daraxt kam o‘sadi. (These lands are stony; few trees grow.)
Class activity
