New words
possessor noun · qaratqichpossessive suffix · egalik qo‘shimchasi“belonging to” · -nikiclassmate · sinfdosh
Explanation

The second noun that goes with a possessive-case noun usually takes a possessive suffix: bolaning qalami, maktabning hovlisi, Alining akasi. The possessive -ning and the possessive suffix are used together. To say whom something belongs to, -niki is also used: Bu qalam Dilnozaniki (Kimniki?).

Worked examples

Class activity
