Suffixes that link words: word-structure analysis

Explanation
The order for analysing a word by structure: 1) show the base; 2) find two related words; 3) identify the suffixes: a) the word-forming suffix, b) the suffix that links words. Example: ovchining — ov is the base; ovla, ovchilik are related words; -chi is the word-forming suffix; -ning is the linking suffix.
Worked examples
ovchining (of the hunter): ov — base; ovla, ovchilik — related words; -chi — word-forming; -ning — linking.
kuchlidan (from the strong one): kuch — base; kuchsiz, kuchay — related words; -li — word-forming; -dan — linking.
Class activity
“Analysis table”: children draw a table with columns (word, base, word-forming, linking) and analyse the words from the board together.
