How an adjective links to a noun

Textbook: Part 3, pp. 69–71
GoalKnow that an adjective links to a noun and make word groups with adjectives.
New words
bee · asalariinsect · hasharothardworking · mehnatkashuseful · foydali
Explanation

In a sentence an adjective is usually linked to a noun: shirin asal (sweet honey), baland binolar (tall buildings). The adjective stands before the noun and does not change when the noun is plural: baland bino — baland binolar. Sometimes an adjective links to a verb: yaxshi o‘qidi (Qanday o‘qidi? — read well). An adjective linked to a noun is usually a secondary part of the sentence (at the end of a sentence it can also be the predicate: Asal foydali. – Honey is useful.).

Worked examples
“The bee”. In spring bees fly over flowers. They collect sweet nectar. The bee is a hardworking insect. In its hive yellow, fragrant honey is made. Honey is very useful.
Mehnatkash (what kind?) hasharot. Sariq (what kind?) asal. Foydali asal.
Class activity

“Adjective–noun pairs”: adjective and noun cards are mixed. Children find pairs and read the word group (sariq — asal).
