Explanation

Some adjectives have opposite meanings: katta — kichik (big — small), baland — past (tall — low), keng — tor (wide — narrow), uzun — qisqa (long — short), yengil — og‘ir (light — heavy), issiq — sovuq (hot — cold), shirin — achchiq (sweet — bitter), oq — qora (white — black), toza — iflos (clean — dirty). Comparing opposites helps us describe things more precisely.
