Объяснение
A full adjective answers «какой? какая? какое? какие?». A short adjective answers «каков? какова? каково? каковы?» and describes a state. It changes only by gender and number: masculine has no ending («силён»), feminine «-а» («сильна»), neuter «-о» («сильно»), plural «-ы/-и» («сильны»). A short adjective is usually the predicate and stands after the noun: «Наш конь силён». If the stem ends in «н» or «к», the masculine form gets a fleeting vowel: «сильный — силён, близкий — близок, ловкий — ловок». No soft sign is written after «ж, ч, ш»: «колючий — колюч, свежий — свеж».
