Объяснение
The comparative of an adverb answers «как? каким образом?» and compares one action with another: «смело — смелее (смелей), громко — громче, поздно — позже». The simple form takes «-ее (-ей)»: «быстрее, смелее». Sometimes the consonant of the stem alternates («г//ж, к//ч, х//ш, ст//щ, д//ж, т//ч») and «-е» or «-ше» is added: «легко — легче, сухо — суше, твёрдо — твёрже, глубоко — глубже, далеко — дальше». Irregular forms: «хорошо — лучше, плохо — хуже, много — больше, мало — меньше». The compound form uses «более/менее»: «более быстро, менее громко». The superlative is the simple comparative + «всех» or «всего»: «Дилноза поёт звонче всех». For comparison we use the genitive or «чем»: «Бобур плавает лучше Тимура» = «лучше, чем Тимур».
Примеры
“Соревнование” (The contest). «Алишер бежит быстрее Камила, а Лола бежит быстрее всех. Камил прыгает выше Алишера, но ниже Лолы. Зрители кричали громче, когда бежала Лола.» (Alisher runs faster than Kamil, and Lola runs fastest of all. Kamil jumps higher than Alisher but lower than Lola. The spectators shouted louder when Lola ran.)
“Who is best?” Three pupils do the same task (for example, read a short poem). The class compares them: «Лола читает выразительнее Азиза, а Камил читает выразительнее всех».
