Counting numerals often take the suffix -ta: bitta, ikkita, beshta, o‘nta. When we count people we can also use nafar: uch nafar do‘st (three friends). The noun after a numeral is not in the plural: uchta kitob (not “uchta kitoblar”), besh bola. A count can be written in words or in digits: 7 kun – yetti kun.
