Drafting an apron and a tie-cap
For drawing you need a scale ruler, a set square, curve rulers, pencils (TM and 2M), an eraser and an album. Lines are of two kinds: thick (1 mm) for the main outlines and thin (0.5 mm) for helper lines; a dash-dot line shows axes and centre lines. Standard measures for the one-piece-bib apron: KQU = 20 cm, FU = 40 cm, BkAYA = 40 cm, BlAYA = 30 cm, QF (width allowance) = 10 cm; if you have your own measures, use those. The drawing starts at the angle in point A: AB = KQU, BE = FU, apron width = BkAYA : 2 + QF. For the tied cap a rectangle is drawn: its width = (BshA + QBshA) : 2 and its height is 20 cm. For example, a head circumference of 50 cm and an allowance of 4 cm gives a width of (50 + 4) : 2 = 27 cm.
In your notebook draw the apron rectangle at 1 : 4 scale from your own measures. Write the measures in a table and calculate. When working with ruler and pencil, do not bring sharp points near your face.
