Modern kitchen appliances
A food processor is a universal device: it cuts vegetables, juices fruit and vegetables, kneads dough, minces meat, whips eggs and mixes salads. Before cutting vegetables with it they are first processed and washed. A mincer minces meat, a mixer whips egg whites and cream for cakes, a juicer makes juice. A gas stove is the most used heating appliance at home: usually 4, sometimes 5 burners, made for cooking over high or low flame; its oven has a lamp, thermostat, bell and ignition button. Safety rules for a gas stove are strictly followed: the room where it stands must have a window vent. Children use gas and electric appliances only beside the teacher or an adult. If you smell gas: do not light a flame, do not touch electric switches, open windows and tell an adult/the gas service immediately. Mixer and processor blades are sharp: they are cleaned only after switching off and unplugging, and nothing is put inside by hand.
