Explanation
An announcement is written short, clear and easy to understand. It has an address (Hurmatli o‘quvchilar!), the name of the event, and the place and time. After writing, read the text through, check the spelling and find which nouns are in the main case.
Worked examples
Announcement. Dear pupils! On 20 October a “Book Festival” will take place in the school library. Start time: 10:00. We are waiting for everyone! Librarian Dilbar opa.
A pyramid from the word “Kuz” (autumn): Kuz. Kuz keldi. Kuz keldi, barglar sarg‘ayadi. Kuz keldi, daraxt barglari sarg‘ayib tushadi. (Each line adds a word or two.)
Class activity
Project: “Class announcement”. Groups write an announcement for a class event (book display, sports contest); then all read it and find the main-case nouns.

For example: Hurmatli o‘quvchilar! Juma kuni soat 11:00 da maktab hovlisida sport musobaqasi bo‘ladi. (Dear pupils! On Friday at 11:00 there will be a sports contest in the school yard.)
