Explanation

In a sentence a verb comes together with a word that answers kim? or nima?: Bola o‘qidi. We can also ask the verb questions like kimni? nimani? kimga? qayerda? and these words form phrases with it: kitobni o‘qidi (read the book), maktabga bordi (went to school), qalam bilan yozdi (wrote with a pencil). Verbs with similar meanings can replace each other: gapirmoq – so‘zlamoq (to speak), adashmoq – yanglishmoq (to make a mistake), tushunmoq – anglamoq (to understand).
