Textbook: Part 4, pp. 12–13
GoalConsolidate personal pronouns: the three persons and their singular and plural pronouns.
New words
person · shaxsspeaker · so‘zlovchilistener · tinglovchisingular – plural · birlik – ko‘plik
Explanation

Personal pronouns point to three persons. First person is the speaker: men, biz. Second person is the listener: sen, siz. Third person is someone outside the conversation: u, ular. Singular: men, sen, u. Plural: biz, siz, ular. We say “siz” to adults to show respect.

Worked examples
Men aytaman, sen tingla. U esa yozadi. (I speak, you listen. And he writes.) – men: 1st person, sen: 2nd, u: 3rd.
Siz yaxshi o‘qituvchisiz. Biz sizni hurmat qilamiz. (You are a good teacher. We respect you.)
