New words

Explanation

A fable is a short story told through animals or things, from which we draw advice. We write an opinion in full sentences: “Menimcha, ...” (I think...), “Bu masaldan shuni bilib oldim: ...” (From this fable I learned that...). If the fable has a numeral, we find it with its question and underline it.

Worked examples
Uchta qurbaqa suvda sakradi. Bittasi charchadi. (Three frogs jumped in the water. One got tired.) – uchta, bittasi – numerals.
Menimcha, ahil bo‘lib ishlash yaxshi. (I think working together is good.)

In pairs, children invent a three-sentence fable, use a numeral in one sentence and write the conclusion.
