Textbook: Part 4, pp. 70–72

New words
picture · rasmto describe · tasvirlamoqtitle · sarlavhamemory · xotira
Explanation

To write a text from a picture we first look at it carefully: who is there, where, what are they doing. Then we make a plan: beginning, main part, ending. We give the text a fitting title. After writing we read it through and check that sentences connect and there are no spelling mistakes.

Worked examples
“In the garden”. There are three children in the picture. They are picking apples in the garden. The girl is putting apples in a basket. The older boy stands under a branch. The little brother is smelling an apple. They are all happy.
Class activity

“Describe the picture”: a child looks at a picture card and says three sentences; the others choose a title.
