Explanation

Profession names are nouns and answer Kim?: shifokor (doctor), o‘qituvchi (teacher), quruvchi (builder), novvoy (baker). What the worker does is said with a verb: the doctor treats, the teacher teaches, the builder builds houses, the baker bakes bread. When writing a text we first name the profession, then its work, and last why it is needed.

Worked examples
“The baker”. The baker comes to work at dawn. He kneads dough and heats the oven. He bakes hot bread. People love eating his bread. The baker’s work is needed by everyone.
Class activity

“What shall I be?”: a child mimes a profession; the others name it and say what the worker does using a verb.
