Explanation
Cardinals answer Nechta? Qancha?, ordinals answer Nechanchi?. Numerals are written in words, Arabic digits or Roman numerals. We read a text, find each numeral, decide its kind and say which noun it links to.
Worked examples
“The carpenter”. Dilshod aka is a carpenter. He works eight hours a day. Today he made three tables and two chairs. He sent the first table to a school. He sold the second to his neighbour.
Cardinals: sakkiz (soat), uchta (stol), ikkita (kursi). Ordinals: birinchi (stol), ikkinchisi (stol).
Class activity
“The finder”: teams find numerals in the text and write them in two columns (Nechta? / Nechanchi?). The fastest and most correct team wins.
