Subject, predicate and a creative task
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Write three sentences: the subject of the first is a person, of the second a thing, of the third a natural phenomenon. Underline the subject.
For example: Aziza kitob o‘qiydi. (Aziza reads a book.) Daftar stolda yotibdi. (The notebook lies on the desk.) Qor yog‘ayapti. (It is snowing.)
2
Choose a fitting predicate: Sartarosh soch ... (oldi, kesdi). Tikuvchi ko‘ylak ... (tikdi, yedi).
kesdi (cut); tikdi (sewed)
3
Write a small advertisement of 3–4 sentences about your favourite dish.
For example: Palov — mazali taom. (Plov is a tasty dish.) Onam uni bayramda pishiradi. (My mum cooks it on holidays.) Hamma palovni yaxshi ko‘radi. (Everyone loves plov.)
4
Underline the subjects and predicates in your advertisement.
Subjects get one line, predicates two lines.
