Explanation

To find the main parts, first look for the predicate: the word that answers Nima qildi? Then ask who or what did it: Kim sug‘ordi? (Who watered?) That word is the subject. A sentence usually begins with the subject and the predicate comes at the end. A sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop.

Worked examples
Scrambled: sug‘ordi, Hilola, gulzorni. Sentence: Hilola gulzorni sug‘ordi. (Hilola watered the flower bed.) Subject: Hilola. Predicate: sug‘ordi.
Scrambled: o‘ynadilar, bolalar, hovlida. Sentence: Bolalar hovlida o‘ynadilar. (The children played in the yard.)
Class activity

“Word train”: each child gets a card with one word. Children line up so that the words form a correct sentence. The class points out the subject and the predicate.
