Explanation

No one is born skilled: you need much practice, study and learning. In Turg‘unboy G‘oyipov’s story “Sehrli qalam” (The magic pencil) in the textbook, a boy looks for a magic pencil to draw and understands that the real secret is practice. We read our own story about a boy potter.

Worked examples
“The first jug”. Zafar went to his grandfather’s pottery workshop. He wanted to make a jug too. His first jug came out crooked, the second collapsed. Zafar was upset. Grandfather said: “You need patience until your fingers learn.” Zafar practised every day and after three weeks made a beautiful jug.
Conclusion: patience and practice are the key to skill.
Class activity
