Every profession has its place
Textbook: Part 2, pp. 10–13
GoalExplain that every profession is needed; tell the idea of a poem about hard-working people.
New words
profession · kasbfarmer · dehqonbaker · novvoycharm, pleasure · gasht
Explanation
In life every profession has its own place and its own “charm”: the farmer sows wheat for bread, the baker bakes it, the doctor heals, the teacher teaches. The textbook has a poem by Po‘lat Mo‘min about people of various professions getting tired; it says that tiredness from work is good, while being tired from idleness is strange. A proverb is a short, concise wise saying.
Worked examples
“Everyone at their own work”. The farmer goes out to the field early in the morning. The baker bakes hot bread in the tandoor. The teacher gives knowledge to the children. The doctor treats the sick. The driver takes passengers to their destination. Everyone’s work is needed; without one the work of another is incomplete.
Conclusion: no profession is lowly; all deserve respect.
