New words

Explanation
A child who reads speaks meaningfully and answers questions quickly and correctly. We call such a child hozirjavob. The textbook has a poem by Qudrat Hikmat about a boy who loves books. We do not repeat the poem; instead we read our own text about a young reader. Words with similar meaning: puxta – pishiq (solid), quvnoq – xursand (cheerful).
Worked examples
“Dilnoza the reader”. Dilnoza loves reading. Every evening on the porch she leafs through new pages. In class, when the teacher asks a question, she finds the answer at once. Her friends call her hozirjavob. Because she reads a lot, her words are beautiful and her thoughts solid.
Question: what do we pay attention to when choosing a book? Answer: that it suits our age and has useful content.
