Explanation

The computer, phone and television are our smart helpers. The phone connects us with a faraway person. The television brings pictures and sounds from the whole world into our home. The computer helps with studying, writing and searching. But sitting long in front of a screen harms the eyes. So we follow rules. The textbook has a tale about a computer and a mouse.

Worked examples
“Screen rule”. Sardor prepared his lesson on the computer. Then his mother said: “Rest your eyes.” Sardor promised not to look at the screen for long. He went outside and played with friends. In the evening he watched television for only half an hour. Now he knows the rule well.
The phone is a means of communication. We do not sit long in front of a screen.
Class activity

“Table of rules”: groups write 3 rules for the computer and phone and make a poster.
