Explanation
Abu Ali ibn Sina is our great compatriot, a famous physician and scholar. In the West he is known as Avicenna. His books on medicine guided doctors for centuries. The textbook has the poem “Sino ulashar davo” (Sina shares the cure) by Po‘lat Mo‘min: it is made of short pieces of advice about health. We read our own text about Ibn Sina.
Worked examples
“Ibn Sina”. Abu Ali ibn Sina was born in the village of Afshona near Bukhara. From a young age he loved to study. Later he became a famous physician. In the West he was called Avicenna. He wrote the book “The Canon of Medicine” (“Tib qonunlari”). This book guided doctors for centuries.
Advice: wash your hands before meals, brush your teeth in the evening, move a little every day.

“Doctor-adviser”: in pairs one child is the patient and the other the doctor; the doctor gives 2 pieces of health advice.
