Using personal pronouns correctly in sentences
Textbook: Part 4, pp. 26–33
ЦельUse personal pronouns correctly in sentences; demonstrative pronouns (bu, shu, u, mana bu, ana u).
Новые слова
demonstrative pronoun · ko‘rsatish olmoshiwhich? · qaysi?plural · ko‘plikrepetition · takror
Объяснение
We use pronouns to match person and number: mening kitobim, sening kitobing, uning kitobi; bizning kitobimiz, sizning kitobingiz, ularning kitobi. A pronoun removes repetition, but if it is used too often the sentence becomes unclear. Bu, shu, u, mana bu, ana u are demonstrative pronouns: they point to a thing and answer qaysi?: bu kitob (this book), ana u daraxt (that tree over there).
