-dan is also added to nouns with possessive suffixes: kitobim – kitobimdan, uying – uyingdan, sumkasi – sumkasidan. The ablative is also used in comparison: Aka ukadan katta (The older brother is older than the younger one). Qayerda? – bog‘da, Qayerga? – bog‘ga, Qayerdan? – bog‘dan: be able to tell all three cases apart.
