Possessive suffixes: singular and plural meaning

Textbook: Part 1, pp. 78–81
GoalTell singular and plural meaning in possessive suffixes.
New words
singular · birlikplural · ko‘plikowner · egasitogether · birgalikda
Explanation

-m, -im, -ng, -ing, -i, -si show singular: there is one owner. -miz, -imiz, -ngiz, -ingiz, -lari show plural: there are several owners. Do not mix this up with the plural -lar of the noun: daftarim – my notebook; daftarlarim – my several notebooks; daftarimiz – our notebook; daftarlarimiz – our notebooks.

Worked examples
Singular: kitobim, kitobing, kitobi. Plural: kitobimiz, kitobingiz, kitoblari.
Sinfimiz toza. (Our class is clean.) Sinfdoshlarimiz ahil. (Our classmates are friendly.) In both sentences the owners are many (biz).
