GoalKnow the kinds of numerals: cardinal and ordinal.
New words
cardinal numeral · sanoq sonordinal numeral · tartib sonWhich in order? · Nechanchi?floor · qavat
Explanation

There are two kinds of numerals. Cardinal numerals show quantity and answer Nechta? Qancha?: bir, ikki, yigirma. Ordinal numerals show order and answer Nechanchi?: birinchi (first), ikkinchi (second), yigirmanchi (twentieth). An ordinal is made from a cardinal by adding -inchi, and -nchi if the word ends in a vowel: uch + inchi = uchinchi, yetti + nchi = yettinchi.

Worked examples
bir — birinchi, uch — uchinchi, besh — beshinchi, o‘n — o‘ninchi, ikki — ikkinchi, olti — oltinchi, yigirma — yigirmanchi.
Nechanchi qavat? — To‘qqizinchi qavat (the ninth floor). Nechanchi sinf? — Uchinchi sinf. Biz uchinchi sinfda o‘qiymiz. (We study in the third grade.)
