Reading: what places can you find in your school?

Textbook: p. 29
GoalRead and understand a short text about places in a school.
New words
our school · bizning maktablarge · kattanew · yangievery day · har kuni
Explanation

Reading tips: look at the picture and title first, then read the text aloud. If we do not know a word, we guess from the sentence. After reading we answer questions in full sentences: “There is a …”, “There are two …”.

Worked examples
“Our school”. Our school is large and new. There is a big library on the first floor. We read books there every day. The cafeteria is next to the library. There are two gyms and a sports field. After lunch we play football on the field. The art room is my favorite place. I paint pictures there.
There is a library. There are two gyms.
Class activity
