Explanation
Value: when another person speaks, we listen and show respect. If we need someone’s thing, we ask: “Can I borrow your pencil, please?” Answer: “Sure. Here you are.” The borrower says “Thank you.” Say it! — the long “ee” sound, spelled ee or ea: tree, feet, eat, teacher, chimpanzee.
Worked examples
“Listening”. Jasur is speaking in class while Madina whispers to her friend. Jasur stops. Madina feels shy and says “Sorry!” Then she looks at his picture and listens. At the end of the lesson Madina asks “Can I borrow your marker, please?” Jasur smiles and says “Sure. Here you are.”

Class activity
“Borrowing”: pairs swap two items (eraser, ruler): “Can I borrow your …, please?” — “Sure. Here you are.” — “Thank you.” Then list words with ee/ea.
