Months of the year. When’s your birthday?

Explanation

There are 12 months: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Month names always begin with a capital letter. To ask about a birthday: “When’s your birthday?” Answer: “It’s in March.” Use “in” before a month: in May, in October.

My brother’s birthday is in July. My mother’s birthday is in November.
Class activity

“Month line”: 12 children each get a month card and line up from January to December. Then each child says “My birthday is in … .” and checks the place.
