Explanation
The book has five friends: Lucas, Max and Tom (boys) and Lily and Anna (girls). For a boy we say “He’s …”, for a girl “She’s …”. To say age: “He’s eight years old.” To ask who someone is: “Who’s this?” — “This is Lily.” Names always begin with a capital letter: Lucas, Anna.

Class activity
“Who is it?”: a child secretly describes a classmate in two sentences (for example “She’s eight. She has a red bag.”). The class guesses: “Is it Aziza?”
