New words
permission · ruxsatplease · iltimossnake · ilontail · dum
Explanation

Story value: when we work together, the job is quicker and better. To ask permission: “Can we play outside, please?” Answers: “Yes, you can.” or “Sorry, you can’t.” Always add “please”. Say it! — the long “ay” sound, spelled a or ai: snake, name, cake, tail, rain.

Worked examples
“Cleaning together”. Aziza and Sardor want to clean the classroom. The desks are heavy and they cannot lift them alone. Aziza asks the teacher: “Can we move the desks together, please?” Then four children lift one desk. The job is finished fast. Everybody smiles.
The snake has a long tail. Rain, rain, rain! I make a cake.
