Explanation
A tradition is a custom kept through generations. Before breaking bread we kiss it and touch it to our eyes, and we do not throw it on the ground. This shows respect for bread. The textbook has a story called “Ta’zim” (Respect) about respect for bread. Keeping traditions is respecting our ancestors.
Worked examples
“Respect for bread”. My grandfather holds bread with respect. He does not drop even a crumb of bread on the ground. He gives it to the birds. I take an example from this. After the meal I gather the bread from the table. Bread is a sign of abundance.
A tradition is a custom passed from generation to generation.
