Explanation

Amir Temur was born in the village of Khoja Ilghar near Shahrisabz. He was a great commander, a statesman who united scattered lands and a patron of science. In the legend in the textbook Amir Temur tells how in a hard moment he took an example from a tiny ant and did not lose hope. We read our own text.

Worked examples
“Amir Temur”. Amir Temur was born in the village of Khoja Ilghar near Shahrisabz. From youth he was brave and agile. His aim was to unite scattered lands and build a strong state. He patronised science and craftsmen. He made Samarkand the capital and developed it. He is honoured with the title Sohibqiron.
“Step by step”. Sherzod wanted to carry a bucket full of water up a hill. Twice the bucket tipped over. Without losing hope, the third time he walked slowly and reached the top. Conclusion: with patience and energy one reaches the goal.
