Plagiatdan qochishning to‘rtta yo‘li: 1) iqtibos (quote) – so‘zma-so‘z olingan matn tirnoq ichida va manba bilan; 2) o‘z so‘zingiz bilan qayta bayon (paraphrase) – ma’no saqlanadi, tuzilma va so‘zlar o‘zgaradi, manba yoziladi; 3) qisqacha mazmun (summary); 4) har bir manbaga havola (cite) va oxirida adabiyotlar ro‘yxati. Nisbiy gaplar yordam beradi: A paraphrase is a sentence that expresses the same idea in different words. Predlogli nisbiy gap: the article from which I took the idea (rasmiy) yoki the article I took the idea from (norasmiy). Shuningdek whom – odam to‘ldiruvchi bo‘lganda (rasmiy), when – vaqt uchun: the author whom we quoted; the day when the essay is due. Qisqartirish: the student who is writing the essay → the student writing the essay; the book which was written in 2010 → the book written in 2010.

The structure and ideas are still the author’s, so it is still plagiarism; a real paraphrase changes the wording and structure and also names the source.
