Explanation

Every child has their own talent: one sings beautifully, another runs fast, another grows plants. The textbook text “Chorining qobiliyati” (Chori’s talent) is given in PIRLS style. PIRLS is an international study that assesses the reading literacy of fourth-grade pupils. In such tasks we read the text carefully and answer the question on the basis of the text. We do not repeat the textbook text; we read our own story.

Worked examples
“Sevara’s gift”. Sevara envied her classmates: Malika drew beautifully, Jahongir ran fast. “I have no talent,” Sevara thought. One day a classmate fell and scraped his knee. Sevara quickly helped, carefully washed the wound and bandaged it. The teacher praised her: “Your talent is being attentive and kind.” For the first time Sevara felt proud of herself.
PIRLS question: Why was Sevara proud of herself? Answer from the text: she helped her classmate and the teacher praised her.
