Textbook: Part 2, pp. 38–40
GoalExplain that cleanliness is the key to health; know what a tongue twister is.
New words
neat, clean · ozodahealthy · sog‘lomnail · tirnoqhabit · odat
Explanation

In the continuation of the story the boy who does not wash becomes ill and understands how important cleanliness is. A child who keeps clean rarely gets ill. A tongue twister (tez aytish) is a kind of Uzbek folklore that uses similar-sounding words, so it is easy to make a mistake when saying it fast.

Worked examples
“A clean child’s diary”. Every morning Dilshod brushes his teeth. Before meals he washes his hands with soap. He eats fruit after washing it. He trims his nails on time. In the evening he takes a bath and goes to bed early. That is why Dilshod rarely gets ill.
Tongue twister: Tishni toza tut, tirnoqni tez ol. (Keep teeth clean, trim nails quickly.)
