Ba’zi sifatlar ma’lum predlog bilan keladi: good at (maths), interested in (music), crazy about (football), fond of (animals), keen on (swimming), hopeless at (drawing). Predlogdan keyin ot yoki fe’lning -ing shakli keladi: I’m good at solving puzzles. Maslahat berish: Pack your bag the evening before. Don’t play computer games late at night. You should eat breakfast. Doimiy haqiqatni ifodalash uchun if + hozirgi zamon, hozirgi zamon: If you heat water to 100 °C, it boils. If you mix blue and yellow, you get green. Old qo‘shimchalar: multi- (ko‘p): multi-storey; flexi- (moslashuvchan): flexi-time; well- (yaxshi): well-organised, well-paid. Kasb nomlari -ist bilan: dentist, florist, pianist.
