Write 3 words for each group: neutral, scientific, official, colloquial.
For example: neutral – uy, suv, kitob; scientific – termin, ta’rif, hodisa; official – tayinlansin, belgilansin, kuchga kiradi; colloquial – hoy, qani, voy.

Explain which kind of speech «yuqorida» and «quyida» belong to and write two sentences.
To written speech. For example: «Quyidagi jadvalda natijalar berilgan» (“The results are given in the table below”), «Yuqorida ko‘rsatilgan qoidaga amal qiling» (“Follow the rule shown above”).

Express one content (being late for school) in three styles: colloquial, official and artistic.
Colloquial: «Kech qoldim-da, avtobus yurmadi» (“I was late, the bus did not run”). Official: «Transport harakati kechikkani sababli darsga kechikkanimni ma’lum qilaman» (“I inform that I was late for the lesson because of a delay in transport”). Artistic: «Shoshgan sari yo‘l cho‘zilar, avtobus esa ko‘zimdan g‘oyib bo‘ldi» (“The more I hurried the longer the road grew, and the bus vanished from my sight”).

From a teacher’s speech in class write two examples each of neutral and style-marked means.
Neutral: «daftar» (notebook), «yozmoq» (to write). Marked: «termin» (term; scientific), «e’tibor bering» (“pay attention”; bookish-instructional).
