Explanation
The group chooses a country. Each pupil finds one part of the information: where it is on the map, its continent, its languages, its typical food, its festivals, and its animals or music. In the presentation: “Our country is Japan. It is in Asia. People speak Japanese. A special food is sushi. A special festival is Hanami.” Take information from reliable sources (books, encyclopedias) and say where you found it. Listen carefully to another group and give feedback: “Could you tell us more about ...?”
Worked examples
Our country is Brazil. It is in South America. People speak Portuguese. A special food is feijoada. A famous festival is the Carnival. Special animals are jaguars and toucans.
