Explanation
Fishing requires patience and attention. The textbook has the poem “Baliq ovida” (Fishing) by Mahmud To‘ychiyev: a group of children go fishing and funny things happen. We do not retell the poem; we read our own text. By water we always go with adults, take care near water and do not litter the bank.
Worked examples
“By the lake”. In summer I went fishing at the lake with my grandfather. He showed me how to hold the rod. We sat quietly for a long time, but no fish bit. “Patience is the fisherman’s best tool,” said grandfather. At last a small fish took my hook. Grandfather advised letting it go back into the water. On our way back we also collected the rubbish on the bank.
Rule: we never go to the water without adults.
