family · oilahappiness · baxtharmonious · ahilcare · g‘amxo‘rlik
Explanation

Family happiness is not in wealth but in love, respect and peace together. In a harmonious family everyone helps each other. On this topic the textbook gives “Oila baxti” (Family happiness), an Armenian folk tale, for listening. We do not repeat it; we read our own text. In a discussion we state an opinion as “I think ..., because ...”.

Worked examples
“Around the tablecloth”. In our family everyone gathers every day for the evening meal. Dad tells about his working day, mom listens with a smile. Grandmother blesses everyone pleasantly. After the meal I help clear the dishes, and my sister folds the tablecloth. We are not rich, but we feel happy because we are kind to each other. I think happiness is simple moments spent together, because they are not forgotten.
Form of opinion: “I think ..., because ...”.
