Textbook: p. 19
GoalListen to a short text about a zoo and decide true or false.
New words
zoo · hayvonot bog‘imonkey · maymunelephant · fillion · sher
Explanation
A listening lesson. The teacher reads the text below twice while children listen with books closed. The first time we get the general idea; the second time we catch details (numbers, colors, animal names). Then we answer “True” or “False”.
Worked examples
“At the zoo”. Today we are at the zoo. I can see two big elephants. They are gray. There is a lion near the tree. It is sleeping. I can see three monkeys on the grass. They are eating bananas. I like the zoo!
